Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to speak to defense personnel in the Pokrovsk area on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he consulted warriors at the command post of the first unit of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya sector, an urban center approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.

Intense Circumstances in Pokrovsk

Updated analysis from a local initiative indicated that invading troops had pushed further into Pokrovsk and its environs, though much of it lacked clear dominance by both forces. The situation remains critical, with reports indicating that opposition troops were establishing defenses and enhancing fortifications in some districts.

Opposition armies are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and appear to be operating with growing ease within Pokrovsk itself.
