This winter transfer market proves to be a period of intense rumour and possible big-money moves. Numerous notable footballers find themselves linked with transfers away from their present clubs. Here is a look at some of the top figures who are poised to be changing clubs in January.

A. Semenyo

Although the Black Stars' failure to qualify for the AFCON, which has left the player available, it appears a significant transfer is imminent. This 25-year-old possesses a deal featuring a sizeable release clause active for a two-week window at the start of the month. Recent reports indicate the Premier League champions look to have won the race for his services. Other suitors like Chelsea and Tottenham reportedly have turned their attention to alternative targets, potentially opening the door for clubs like Liverpool or Manchester United to make a late bid.

Marc Guéhi

The English centre-back has continued to impress for Palace this season a summer move to Anfield collapsing. With his contract set to run out in the close season, this represents the London club's last opportunity to obtain a fee for their captain.
